All the hikers but one

Here's Johnny!

The hike begins with Dewey our dog leader out front

Our other dog Charlie is bringing up the rear

The trail is very wide and well maintained

The trail runs along the lakeside

Note all the fall leaves on the ground

We reach one of the newly opened tunnels

We decided to go around the tunnel on a side path

The reason not to use the tunnel – better view

Lake Crescent from the bridge

Leaves floating on water

A single leaf floating

The last of the fall leaves covered the ground

The fall colors added to the blue lake

Tieta wanted a picture with the fall colors

Maureen and Charlie also wanted a picture

You get a great view of the lake from the trail

The trail is partially blocked by fallen rocks

We made it around the blockage and continued on our way

David in front of the second trail tunnel which has not been cleared yet

John our hike leader pointing out to David things to see

Another good example of how the trail runs next to the lake

All of our hikers look in good spirits

Charlie is happy because he doesn’t have to walk

Bill leading the pack

Gary and Mark definitely look like they are having a good time

Speaking of having a good time – Tieta, Maureen and Charlie look happy

Another view along the trial

John, David and Ken stop for lunch

Judi also stopped for lunch

Bill and Tieta enjoy their lunch

Lunch over so it is time to head back to our cars and home

The trail is a little narrow in spots

This time we are going through the tunnel instead of around it

Out the other side of the tunnel and down the trail back to our cars

Our last view of the lake

That’s all folks!
