Any Hiking Club member may act as a hike leader to organize a hike on any trail within a reasonable distance of Port Ludlow (see the TRAILS tab for suggestions). The hike may take place any day of the week and can be planned days, weeks, or months in advance. The hike leader should send an email to the Port Ludlow Hiking Club Scribe at portludlowhikingclub@gmail.com with the information listed below. The Scribe will forward the email to all Hiking Club members. Anyone with questions about the hike should contact the hike leader directly.

The following information should be included in the email sent by the hike leader to the Scribe:

Hike date / time:        The hike can be on any day of the week at any time.
Description
:                Short description of the hike.
Length:                       Roundtrip hiking distance.
Rating:                        See Hike Ratings for detail rating descriptions.
Distance to trailhead: If available.
Driving time:               If available.
Restrooms available: Yes/No.
Trail pass required:     Yes/No. If yes, note type: National Park Pass/Northwest Forest Pass/Discover Pass
Dog friendly:                Yes/No.
Hike organizer contact information: email address and optional phone number. The email address is required. All questions or concerns should be emailed to hike leader directly.
